    Mould 3D design
    Conduct structural analysis on customer products to evaluate die casting feasibility such as draft and wall thickness uniformity,Design pouring system and cooling system. Using UG software to establish the 3D model of die, analyze the die flow, simulate the filling process of aluminum liquid and reduce the bubble defects.

    Procurement of materials and standard components
    Purchase the raw material block with proper size according to the requirements of mould design.
  • 03
    Cut the rough material and start rough machining (This process is completed by the material supplier)
    At the initial stage of part manufacturing, the raw material (H13/SKD61/8407/) is cut into a blank in an efficient and economical manner, and the blank is ground smooth with a grinding machine to meet the requirements of plane roughness. This process is completed by the material supplier)

    Heat treatment (This process is outsourced)
    Through quenching, tempering and other processes, the heat treatment industrial furnace improves the hardness and toughness of the die steel, eliminates the stress generated by the steel in the processing process, and increases the service life of the die.(This process is outsourced)

    Mold frame, mold core, insert CNC machining
    The dimension, shape and surface roughness of parts such as die core are controlled within the design requirements (such as tolerance ± 0.01mm) through the CNC machining center to ensure the final accuracy and functional performance and decide whether the mould can stably produce qualified products.

    Drilling and tapping
    Grind the surface of the die frame with a grinder, drill and tap the die frame efficiently and quickly with a rocker drill, and remove burrs from the holes with a manual lathe. These holes are typically used for lifting and pulling dies and for assembly.

    Electrical Pulse Machining (This process is outsourced)
    Electric spark machining (EDM) accurately processes the dead angles that cannot be reached by the CNC tool through the contour of the "profile" electrode to ensure the high precision and integrity of the die. (This process is outsourced)

    Wire cutting processing (This process is outsourced)
    Removal of metal by wire cutting relies on electric discharge, which is not limited by workpiece hardness. Slide block for machining die. The cutting part is a shaped block, which is convenient for recycling or reuse and is very economical.(This process is outsourced)

    Die assembly
    Assemble, position, fix and debug the processed mould parts according to the design requirements, and finally form a complete and normal mould.

    Trial molding
    Test mold is to verify the manufacturing quality of mold to ensure the stability and efficiency of subsequent batch production. Batch production samples of the same material shall be used, critical dimensions shall be measured with a three-coordinate measuring instrument, and drawing tolerances compared. Sort out the complete mould test report and record the best process parameters and product defects. Provide basis for mold repair and batch production.

    Delivery
    The mould is delivered to the customer with the test report.
